Our history

MashUp Fabric was founded in 2022 by lifelong best friends and crafting partners Alexandra Smith and Rebecca Wilson.  Alexandra and Rebecca met in elementary school over a shared love of cross stitching. Their passion for fiber arts has only grown over the year

Founder

Alexandra is a seasoned seamstress with 20+ years of sewing expertise focused on dressmaking and tailoring. She has a Fashion Design degree and experience working for boutiques and retailers altering garments. Alexandra sews clothes for her daughters and enjoys baking and gardening.

Founder

Rebecca is a self-taught quilter with 15+ years of experience who loves experimenting with bold patterns and colors in her award-winning quilt designs. She teaches quilting, hikes, reads, and plays with her dogs when not working on her latest quilting project.
